About Me

A little about myself.
My name is Josh Walker and I have been teaching since January 2012. I have taught primarily multi-grade classes and have just started to get into teaching single grade classes. I began teaching in School District 74 Gold Trail at Lillooet Secondary School. I was one of two Learner Support Teachers there. I also taught grade 8 PE, First Nations Language and Culture and the school's Canteen course. Following that I moved to Shalalth BC where I taught grades 6-7 for 1 year, and then I was the high school teacher there for the next 4 years.
I have been Principal Designate, First Aid attendant, Pro-D rep as well as teacher.
Most recently I moved to the Okanagan. I currently teach at Princess Margaret Secondary School where I teach all of the IT courses. My current workload is comprised of Photography, Media Design 9, Television and Film, and Photography. I also teach FMP 10 and am in charge of the yearbook.

At present, I am also enrolled in 4 college courses and when completed, I will be certified to teach shop classes.
